The Kurumba Maldives lagoon is surrounded by wave breakers that reduce waves and currents which makes it excellent for snorkeling. With an average depth of 1 – 1.5 metres, it is easy to find small coral outcrops with a variety of marine life. Outside the wave breakers, there is a greater variety of coral reef, which is home to varied fish and sea creatures, including sting rays, turtles, a vast array of colourful fishes.
