Terms & Conditions

  • (* ) Discounts on F&B are defined as meal plans, F&B incremental items purchased in the resort. The discounts are applicable in all restaurants, In Villa Dining, Bars and Mini bar.

  • (**) Room upgrades, early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.

  • Selected excursions are: Glass Bottom Boat, Snorkelling Safari, Sandbank Picnic, Cultural Island Experience, Male' Tour and fishing trips, including sports fishing.

  • Discounted amounts are calculated off the published prices and cannot be combined with other offers and discounts.

  • Kurumba Maldives. ("Kurumba" or "we") may change the 'A Friend of Kurumba' Guest loyalty program  (the "Program") rules, processes, regulations, and special offers at any time, with or without notice. Kurumba reserves the right to terminate the entire program with-out advance notice to all then-Active Members, and immediately upon notice to all then-Active Members in the case of a termination relating to the substitution  of a similar replacement program.

  • Membership is free. Employees of Kurumba Maldives, Universal Resort Pvt. Ltd. and any of its subsidiaries and affiliates are not eligible to participate in this program.

  • We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to immediately discontinue 'A Friend of Kurumba' guest's membership if a member acts in a manner inconsistent with local laws or in a fraudulent or abusive manner; otherwise misuses the benefits of membership; or fails to pay any valid bill or account when due to Kurumba Maldives.

  • Kurumba Maldives is not responsible for requests or correspondence lost or delayed in the mail or via electronic mail. Kurumba Maldives is not responsible for, and reserves the right to correct, any pricing or typographical errors, errors of description, or errors regarding its property.

  • Program memberships are individual and can only be used by the member whose name is listed on the account.

  • Members staying at crew rates and certain pre-specified local negotiated rates are not eligible to receive in-hotel elite level benefits.

  • One stay is defined as seven room nights in terms of stay counts.

  • The guest who is paying for extra rooms will have these rooms counted in their stay to a maximum of two rooms. The guest staying the other room does not receive the room night’s reward.

  • You will need to exceed the nights stayed and stays to achieve the next level.

  • All interpretations of these Membership Rules, terms and conditions shall be at the sole discretion of Kurumba Maldives.

  • Free upgrades, early check in and late check-out are subject to availability.

  • Our friends of Kurumba are requested to contact the sales team on sales@kurumba.com seven days prior to arrival to highlight the use of the loyalty program, check your details and work on additional benefits for you.

  • We request that you highlight on your booking that you are a return guest on a reservation made with the resort whether it is via a travel agent, direct or via an online travel agent.

  • As a member of Friends of Kurumba, you agree to the privacy statement as listed here.

  • The Friends of Kurumba loyalty program can be used on Velassaru Maldives Affinity Program and classic=white, silver = blue and gold = platinum. The benefits available are as per Velassaru Affinity Program and the benefits are as per the Affinity Program. Velassaru Affinity Members can use Kurumba’s Friend of Kurumba program on a vice versa condition. Affinity members need to contact sales@kurumba.com prior to their arrival to disclose their membership. Staying at an alternative resort does not add to your room night count.
