
The Kurumba Lagoon, all around the island is excellent for children and grownups to play in and practice snorkeling skills. Water breakers protect it from the waves. An average depth of 1 - 1 1⁄2 m, makes it easy to find small coral blocks and a variety of fish lazily swimming by - Sea cucumbers and small moray eels in varied hues popping out of the sand, Feeding on shellfish, small stingrays wander into the lagoon from the reef.
